You know a book is going to be awesome if the description on the back makes you snort.

Dean Koontz is one of my all time favorite authors. He regained his spot at top of this exclusive list with Relentless. I've been reading him since I was 13. Nearly every one of his books are incredibly enjoyable, but this one...oh man. It's possibly the best book I've read this year, maybe the best Dean Koontz has ever done.
Relentless makes you laugh out loud, your heart pound and your blood boil, it has all the crucial elements of a classic. The family you follow is loving, loyal and three dimensional, you are so invested in these people that by the middle of the book you start biting your nails at the slightest hint of danger. Their development gives you a fantastic insight to their natures and personality that all of their reactions are plausible and realistic, none of that horrible grandstanding from out of nowhere like some authors do.
The plot unfolds in such a subtle way it keeps you guessing at every page turn. I ate this book up in about an hour, I could not put it down to save my life.

The twists and plot are amazing, the pacing is perfect, the characters engaging, the villain/s are despicable and mysterious and at the end you are hungry for more. This book is a 10/10.

The only bad thing about it is that it wasn't longer, I'm not saying the ending was forced or anything, it was just so brilliant that I wanted to keep reading.

BUY IT AND READ IT!
